2nd Annual Hawk Tales & Cocktails A SUCCESS!

Once again we, as REGI staff, were blown away by the amount of support you all showed us as we were able to raise over $10,000.00 at our 2nd Annual Hawk Tales and Cocktails. We enjoyed a night of great food, music, silent auctions, raffles, friends, family, and endless laughs. Your support continues to amaze us everyday.

Injured Goose Captured and Safe

Kevin and Linda Grenzer are the heroes in this story and spent 5 full days and many man hours over the past several weeks developing various net traps and other methods in attempts to capture this very smart little lady goose.

Eagle Release 1-12-2019

Our thanks to Barry Adams of the Wisconsin State Journal for the video he produced as well as the superb print article on our work and the fantastic eagles that were released on Saturday 1-12-19.

Juvenile Snowy Owl admitted from Westfield, WI.

Al Sloway went to his barn this morning and found a Snowy Owl staring back at him, covered in fresh cow manure. The only thing recognizable on this typically sparkling white arctic owl when he was found, were his bright yellow eyes.

The first bird admitted in 2019

The first bird admitted in 2019 was a Rough-legged Hawk. Rough-legged Hawks are beautiful buteo hawks that breed in the Arctic Tundra and often winter in WI and other U.S. states.

Getting Ready for Release!

The week before a release is always super busy for us. This is the time when we are not only caring for our regular patients but also doing the final flight evaluations with the eagles that will be released.

Update photos on Snowy Owl.
