Lots of Baby Birds!

Our interns arrive from around the country today to work with us this summer! It will be a good day! Tomorrow is orientation.

Lots of baby birds are starting to come in as well as injured adult Rough-legged Hawk, American Robin caught in a mouse trap :( ,Baltimore Orioles X4, Rose Breasted Grosbeaks x3, Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. Pine Siskins x4, Northern Cardinals x4 and one tiny Canada gosling. Thank you to Dawn Stein,John Molski and Kathy Esqueda for recent transports.
The last patient of the weather event fallout, a Pied-billed grebe was released! He was so happy to finally be well enough to go home! We were elated to see his enthusiasm as he left our care! Thank you again for bringing this frightened little grebe to Antigo for care.
