By participating in REGI's Adopt A Bird program, you can contribute financially to the annual support of our avian patients.

As a thank you, you will receive a photo of the bird you are supporting, information, history, and a certificate suitable for framing. Your involvement is priceless to the future of these wild birds. We truly appreciate your support.

This owl came in very ill and probably suffered from rodenticide poisoning. His parent may have fed him a mouse that was sick from mouse poisoning

This Merlin came in with west nile virus and had hardly any feathers her first year of life.

Little Bit came to REGI in 1998 with his siblings after his nest tree was cut down. Little Bit's eyes were swollen shut from black fly bites, which also damaged his nictitating membrane.

Juliet came from Southern California. Juliet was shot in the back, and required surgery to repair her injuries. While most of her injuries were successfully repaired, she is unable to sustain flight. She is a western red-tailed and very dark in coloration.

She was found south of Antigo on Hwy 29. She had been hit by a car and is blind and possible deaf on her right side.

Ishmael was raised in captivity for falconry. However, he has a weak foot, which would make falconry difficult for him. The falconer donated Ishmael to REGI to be used as an education bird.

This barn owl came all the way from Oregon and sustained permanent damage from colliding with a car.

This owl was born with cataracts in both of his eyes and his mother bumped him out of the nest. His cataracts were removed, but he can still only see about 45% of what a normal owl can see.

This owl had a broken wing from a car hit. By the time he arrived at REGI his wing had already begun healing, unfortunately in the wrong position.

This is the arrow mom. She was shot with an arrow in the fall of 2008. She could not be caught for over a month with the arrow piercing right through her body. With a lot of help she was caught up and miraculously fully healed. She was released and rejoined her family in the spring of 2009. During her stay at REGI she helped foster some of REGI's other juvenile Sandhill Cranes.

Morrie was hatched in an abandoned shed with his sister. The shed caught fire, and fortunately, the two vulture chicks were rescued. Morrie sustained burns on his feet and legs and damaged lungs from smoke inhalation.

American Pride $200

This Eagle was a victim of the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill in Prince William Sound, Alaska. She was very heavily oiled, leading to the loss of a portion of a wing and two talons.
